Acceptable use
Self-serve is internal research and internal apps. Do not resell the corpus. Do not run a competing firehose.
Effective 25 August 2026. Operator: AQX LLC. Related: license, terms.
Do not
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute PIT rows, coverage certificates (our per-day record of what we read), mapping, or flat files
- Build a competing information API or news firehose on this corpus
- Present PIT output as a “derived official archive” of publisher bodies
- Store WSJ / Reuters / Bloomberg article bodies sourced from PIT (we do not ship those bodies)
- Share a live key with an unbounded third party, or wrap PIT as someone else's public API
- Circumvent rate limits, defeat pagination to pull more than a plan allows, or mint keys you are not entitled to
- Attest internal use at checkout if your product's end users receive the data
Resale, redistribution, end-user display, and a competing API need a commercial license from operations@aqx.llc. We may refuse that license. A commercial grant does not waive key sharing, rate-limit dodges, or the publisher-body rules.
Keys and accounts
This page applies to all three self-serve plans: Researcher at $29, Power at $79 and Desk at $499. An account is one login and carries no seats, so a key gives whoever holds it the account's full access. Researcher may hold 3 keys at 60 requests a minute, Power 10 keys at 300, and Desk 25 keys at 1,200. Those caps are per account rather than per person.
Expected use
Name a clock on every /v1 call. Carry the holes the response reports into whatever you build. Leave available_at null where we report it null, and revoke a key as soon as it leaks.
Enforcement
We may refuse, rate-limit, or close an account that breaks this page. Closing an account revokes its keys and leaves outstanding invoices payable. A close under this page carries no refund: /legal/refund.
