The rows carry no filing text yet
A PIT row holds form type, company name, accession, CIK, five clocks, a
content hash and the SEC URL. The filing text is not in there yet. A model
asked to summarise a cut therefore draws on its own memory of the period,
and that memory has no cut instant. Filing text is being ingested now. Until
it lands, fetch the document from source_locator and let the
model read that.

Published list prices, August 2026
Benzinga Pro is a terminal, priced separately from the API. Third-party roundups quote a range for it. Read the figure off Benzinga’s own page rather than off this one.

Limits
Where Benzinga is the better tool
- A wire is faster. PIT has no latency product at all.
- PIT sells no Benzinga text, headlines or channels.
- PIT ranks nothing about catalyst quality and carries no editorial judgement.
- Benzinga’s publication time is an editorial clock. It records when they published, not when EDGAR made a filing available.
